What we can offer

We are pleased to offer high quality year round trips for all species of Alaskas’ amazing sport fish on many of the Kenai Peninsula rivers including the Kenai and Kasilof.

With more than 25 years of guiding experience, we specialize in flyfishing and Spey (double hand) trips for those interested in that pursuit. Family trips with children are always welcome and are trips we love to do. Groups with special needs are happily accommodated as well. Our trips can be customized to your schedule and fishing desires.

We are fully insured and USCG and state of AK licensed. All gear, including waders are provided. We utilize both power and drift boats depending on the trip, river and time of year.

Chinook / Kings

  • The first of our Alaskan salmon to enter the rivers. We target them using a variety of techniques from our comfortable 20’ drift boats. Kings begin arriving in May and continue through July.

    Seasons and limits vary season to season depending on ADF&G regulations. Contact us for more info and to book your trip.

    • Full (8 hours) day $295.

    • 3/4 (6 hours) day $245.

    • 1/2 day trips available upon request.

Sockeye / Reds

  • The next of the salmon to return are the plentiful sockeye salmon. The return in fishable numbers beginning in mid June and continue to run through mid August. We target them using fly rods and a lining technique.

    Typical limits are 3-6 fish per person depending on run strength and time of season. This can be a power boat or drift boat trip. 

    • Full (8 hours) day $295 per person.

    • 3/4 (6 hours) day $245 per person. 

    • 1/2 day trips available upon request.

Coho / Silver Salmon

  • The last of our Salmon to return to our rivers every year are the acrobatic Silver Salmon. They begin their journey in mid August and continue through October depending on the river. We fish these salmon with a variety of techniques and can be targeted with traditional gear and fly rods.

    Usual limit is 1-3 fish depending on river and regs. Contact us for more info and to book your trip.

Rainbow Trout & Dolly Varden

  • Rainbows and Dollie’s are available throughout the year except for a spawning closure in May and early June. On the Kenai River we target these fish with an 18’ Power Drifter that combines the best of 2 boat styles and provides an advantage when pursuing these amazing fish. We use fly rods to target them with a variety of beads and flies. All trout and dolly trips are catch and release only.

    Power boat trips are limited to 3 anglers.

    • 3/4 day (6 hours) $775

    • 1/2 day (4 hours) $650

    • Call for per person options for walk and wade or drift boat trips $295-$350 pp.

Steelhead

  • The crown jewel of all our fish are available in April until mid May and again in September through November. These are our favorite fish to pursue and space is extremely limited every year. We fish with fly rods on several different rivers on the Peninsula depending on the run and the weather. We offer limited catch and release day trips and 9 all inclusive week long trips for 1-2 people every fall.

Halibut

  • All though we do not run our own ocean boats we are happy to help our BnB guests get on good ocean charters out of Homer.
